Hi, I’m Dani. A former public school teacher and current homeschooling mom of three boys, ages 12, 9 and 7. We began homeschooling in 2020 and when it  was time to go back to school…we just didn’t. Homeschooling was a simply a better fit for our family.

Our oldest is an extremely sweet kid, creative and imaginative. He desperately struggled with focusing when we first began homeschooling and is thriving now. Our middle mathematician, is our quick witted prince charming. The most black and white thinker I have ever met, he loves math and is currently working three grade levels above his own in that subject. And, last, but not least, and definitely loudest, is our third little comedic turkey who spends most days pretending to be a spy. He’s really not very good at it!

Homeschooling looks different in every family, it is personal and specific to the children it is designed for, which is where the beauty is. Our Little Homeschool on the Prairie is just sharing what works for us; how we  revived our homeschool days and found more time and peace and patience and love and grace in our days. I sincerely hope and pray that it blesses you and your family.
